Cancellation and Refund Policy for Online Subscription Purchases
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to purchases of Dabud.ai services that are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) via dabud.ai. Paddle is the seller of record for these transactions and handles billing, taxes, and refunds under its buyer terms.
If you have a separate written agreement with Polt House, Inc. (e.g., enterprise agreement / order form), the cancellation and refund terms in that agreement apply.
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future renewals. For compliance reasons, Paddle’s subscription emails to customers include a cancellation link. You can cancel via in-app settings (if available) or via Paddle customer portal / receipt link..
2.2 Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period (your access remains active until then).
3. Free Trial Period
If your plan includes a free trial, the trial lasts for 3 days from activation (unless stated otherwise at signup).
To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial ends using the cancellation link provided by Paddle (in subscription emails/receipt) or via Paddle’s customer portal.
4. Refunds
4.1 If you are a Consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction (unless an exception applies). If you cancel within this period, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you in accordance with Paddle’s buyer terms.
4.2 Refunds outside the 14-day consumer cancellation right (or where the exception applies) are handled by Paddle on a case-by-case basis under Paddle’s refund policy.
5. How to Request a Refund
5.1 For Paddle-processed transactions, refunds and billing-related requests should be submitted using the link in your Paddle receipt/subscription email or via Paddle’s customer support portal.
5.2 To help locate your order, please include your order number (transaction ID) and the email address used at checkout.

6. Timing and Method of Refunds
6.1 Where the 14-day consumer right to cancel applies, Paddle will reimburse payments without undue delay and not later than 14 days after being informed of the cancellation decision, using the same payment method used for the initial transaction.
6.2 For other refunds (where applicable), Paddle processes refunds in accordance with its refund policy and payment method rules.
7. Additional Terms
7.1. If you do not submit your cancellation and/or refund request in accordance with the processes and time limits outlined in this Policy, your request may be denied.
7.2. Polt House, Inc. may update or modify this Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on dabud.ai.
